I’ve applied. How long will I wait for your response?
We reply to all job applications usually within 2-4 days. However, sometimes, when the position is highly popular, it may take up to 2 weeks. For the next recruitment steps, it will take one week for us to give you feedback. In case of any changes, we’ll inform you about them.
I've applied, but I am still waiting for an answer. What should I do?
Not getting an answer is almost impossible, but we're all human. So if you don't hear from us in 2 weeks, please get in touch with us: rekrutacja@neurosys.com.
How long will the soft interview take?
A soft interview takes about 30-60 minutes, depending on how chatty you are ;).
What does the soft interview look like?
During this convo, we will talk about you, your previous work experience, and expectations. For our part, we will tell you more about the company and work culture. We might switch to English as well. The whole conversation will be rather casual, so there is no need to stress over it. You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. It can take place in one of our offices or via a video call.
How long will the tech interview take?
We can't tell you how long the tech interview will take once and for all because its plan depends on the position you're applying to and a tech recruiter. But, in general, it should take about 60-90 mins. However, depending on the process for a particular role, it may be even 120 mins. Of course, we will let you know beforehand about the job interview length.
What does the tech interview look like?
At this stage, we will discuss technology and a field of expertise that will be your core responsibility. Be prepared to carry out a programming task during the meeting. The interview can take place in one of our offices or via a video call.
Will I have to work overtime?
Extra hours are really occasional, and they are 100% your choice. Mostly, people decide that they will work more one day, so they can leave earlier the other day. But when a project is on the rocks, you may be offered extra cash for staying longer hours.
Can I change projects while working in NeuroSYS?
We make every effort to match people and projects in the best possible way based on competencies and interests. However, if something feels wrong, you can always ask your manager to change it. And we promise we'll do our best for it to happen as soon as possible, but finding a new project for you can take some time.
How about career paths in NeuroSYS?
In NeuroSYS, we’ve got broad career scenarios ready for you. But you don't have to strictly stick to it as, foremostly, we want you to develop in what you’re passionate about. To help you with that, we’ve got area leaders in .NET, PHP, Node.js, Frontend, DevOps, QA, Research & Development, Augmented Reality, Marketing, Human Resources, and Office to help you advance your career. Also, if you want extra challenges, turn to your Project Manager or HR supervisor.
Can I work 100% remotely?
Yes, you can work from home, office, or in a hybrid model. However, as we want to build friendly and lasting relationships, we expect you to visit us in the office occasionally. Therefore, we cover all travel expenses whenever there are official office parties.
Is part-time work possible?
We’d prefer you work full-time; however, there is an opportunity to work part-time as well. For example, if you have an exceptional life situation, such as a little kid or health issues. If you’re a university student, we’re sure we’ll successfully combine your schedule with classes.
Can I bring my pet to the office?
Our offices are pet-friendly; a lot of our folks occasionally come to the office with their four-legged friends. However, whenever you plan on that, ask your colleagues if they don't mind (allergies, other pets visiting, etc.).
Do I have to speak English?
Yes. Most of our clients are English speakers, and project backlogs and meetings are held in English. However, in the office, we speak Polish. The only exception is our Norwegian office.
